The Philadelphia Eagles reloaded their practice squad with promising talent, snatching former Ravens cornerback Robert Longerbeam and ex-Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue. Longerbeam, fresh off a standout preseason with Baltimore and known for his physicality and opportunistic forced fumbles at Rutgers, is poised to compete for a roster spot if injuries or roster moves shake things up.
Jaydon Blue injects new life and youthful grit into the Eagles’ running back depth after a stint in Dallas, while former Bears third-round pick Kiran Amegadjie gets a shot at redemption on an offensive line famed for transforming overlooked prospects into starters. With tackle depth in focus—especially as Lane Johnson nears retirement—could Amegadjie or another young lineman become Philadelphia’s next breakout? The Eagles’ proactive moves might just define the trajectory of their 2026 NFL campaign.
